Isn’t it becoming more and more obvious that we are yet to see a local feed on Twitter? The idea of introducing a Local Discovery feature was brought up during the network’s Hack Week last April, where engineers and employees began testing the feature. Yet, while they’re getting all the fun, us Twitter users have still not been graced with its presence.

A Local Discovery feed would show tweets from any public users about events, trends and interests relevant to our location within a perimeter specified by us. Although
